Hip pain can arise from various structures including the inner thigh muscles, tendons, the hip joint and its associated muscles or may even be ‘referred’ pain, that is, pain arising from another area that is felt in a different location to its actual source.

Acute hip and groin pain can also arise from sports injuries involving twisting and turning and kicking in sports such as rugby and football.

A careful and thorough assessment will assist us in providing an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan for you.
